Comments (6)1)Sub-Zero. The only problem with them is the in-door ice dispenser has lots of problems but OP's potential buyers don't care about that.Their new ulta-violet NASA type air scrubber is kinda cool. 2)Gaggenau-Miele columns. Thermador cheaper and similar except for the bins and interior. Gagg SS inside as well. Miele offers 24 monitoring via wifi.Super high quality hinges.Really like the drawers too. 3)Jenn-Air or KitchenaAid. I would stay away from Viking. I like Liebherr for custom panel applications but they use cheaper 430 SS for their SS versions and it is thin SS panels at that....See MoreSomething new in sushi - the BLT

Comments (37)Sometimes I measure S&P and sometimes I don’t. I find measuring fresh ground pepper to be too much of a PITA. I cut way back on sodium years ago and find I usually only like about half the amount called for in recipes. I often just pour coarse salt in my palm and eyeball it. We like pepper so I’m likely to use more not less. Sometimes I know by taste that I have to add more salt but I can’t offset bland with salt. I have a bunch of salt free spice blends I use and a variety of vinegars to add more zip. Speaking of salt - I‘m amazed by the amount of salt restaurants use - nice restaurants. It’s as if it’s the only spice they’re familiar with. I guess that’s what most people like if they’ve never cut back on sodium. I’ve had more than a few salty meals I couldn’t eat....See MoreFAVORITE way to eat a blt
Comments (22)Toasted white bread. No mayo. Four slices of thick cut hickory smoked bacon done to crispy with a little bit of chew, ripe sliced tomato, iceberg lettuce (not shredded) and sometimes sliced avocado, sometimes not. I will also eat bacon sandwiches on toast with an over medium egg. All time favorite is a triple decker turkey club (real roast turkey, never deli meat) on white toast....See Moredefrost49
