Suggestions for chandelier and sconces please!
I would love an open lantern pendant/chandelier like the one pictured here, but I am not sure what type of sconces to match? Thoughts anyone? Or any other ideas? My current dining room and lighting is pictured below this lantern photo. No other furniture - just table and chairs. THANKS!!!!

4 years agoI would start by saying the scale of the current light is pretty good it has some weight to it to balance the table and chairs. I feel like the cage light might be too light of a fixture for the space, something longer with the same feel might be nice. I would also suggest a piece of art to fill the space between the sconces, and then pick sconces that work all the way around. I would remove the small one between the windows entirely as it seem a little under scaled.

So, having said that the transitional chrome fixtures with drum shades are totally out of character, as is the "blingy" choice. I don't think the farmhouse choice works either. Comments (9)because of the volume, you would need to make them look to scale I would avoid dark fixtures. One great option for you would be to go with a ceramic sconce that can be very discrete and actually painted the wall color to blend away.
