Out of the two you have there, I like the rectangle one better. And it gives it more of a subway tile feel. If you wanted something more grey you could, I think the color looks great. A grey would definitely help balance it out and not make it all blend together. But the photos might show it more white/not the right color. In my personal opinion I think you should try to not match the counter color, or go close to it. Go darker, lighter or a totally different color.

I think the small square backsplash is too busy. I would do a light gray or white subway or marble subway tile. I have a quartz that mimics Carrara and a marble backsplash that I found at an outlet. It isn't Carrara, but similar. Sorry, I keep trying to post a pic, but for some reason, it won't!

I am considering the same counters. Are they a cool white, neutral or slightly warm white? I can’t tell in pictures. I have Simply White cabinets and trying to decide if the quartz will work. thanks!

@andreabrin hi there! So we are about to order Compac and saw so many terrible reviews with a couple good ones. May I ask where you are located ? How did you like your fabricators , do you have black dots spread on the surface or film spots ? Does it scratch and stain easily ? These are the bad reviews and would love some guidance on the good ones. Also , any more photos up close you could send would be so helpful !

To be honest, we have had a lot of problems with Compaq. I would not recommend them. I do like the material but it has been a headache. We also just got a new piece of quartz that was supposed to match and the new one has black dots which was does NOT match any of the other pieces. They claim that it is supposed to have black dots but we would never have ordered this material with Black dots that does not match our other pieces. We are really disappointed. We are in the south Florida area.
