How much time do they spend in your home?

I know this will vary from the size of the house.

The person I have came today and was here for 1 hour.

2700 sq ft house. It took me longer to get ready for her to come than she spent cleaning.

I'd say it was a "light" cleaning.

Vacuumed, mopped, wiped the counters down but didn't move any of the dining or kitchen chairs to clean under. She wiped off the night stands, around whatever was on there, but nothing else.

Normally she starts the washer with the sheets. When I get home, 1 load is in the dryer & the other in the washer. I'm good with that.

Today it was all in a wad with a note that said, "didn't know what you wanted me to do with these."

The kitchen sink wasn't even touched.

It may have been a "light" cleaning, but it was a not a discounted rate.

I hired her when I had surgery in May. I knew I wouldn't be able to do any housework.

Guess I'm in the market for a new cleaning person.
