Jockewing I smiled at your post. My local coffe chain has a dedicated coffee recycling bin behind the shop. All of thier coffee grounds go into it. It's filled every day and we composters descend like locust and happily strip it bare. We have a service here in Donegal county that will collect organic recyclables from businesses. It would be great if they made that service mandatory across the country. Imagine the benefit to landfills if all businesses were required to separate oraganic matter. There are a lot of forestry's here also. They would benefit from the compost since we are removing all the trees. With Eco friendly replanting the soil requires replinishing. I inagine the quick growing pines strip the soil of nutrients. Sorry, off my little soapbox. I get excited by compost :-)

Kgwilsa - Do you know whether they (typically) use adhesive to keep it in place? I wonder if I'll find a bunch of sticky goo if I remove it. I've contacted the foreman of my build to see if he can look into this and find out why the plumbers put it there. Thanks! try_hard

Most, not every, of those lovely blues and greens here too. When I was a child, my favorite crayon in Crayola's 72-crayon box was always 'Midnight Blue,' and that's the background color on my sofa right now. My only problem in any with the robin's-egg blue lamp I inherited a quarter century ago from my MIL's 19...30s? trendy flirtation with that color is that it's too dainty to be a major feature. However, right now I seem to have acquired a surprising amount of items in the "persimmon" range and gaze wistfully (suppressed, I share with DH) at shell pinks (like "Carnation Pink" #2 crayon favorite); all lovely, of course, with warm blues. I used to go straight for scarlet, though.

Lovely Sara-Ann! Mine seem to have a sort of "neon" quality to them, quite artificial looking. Except for this spring when the colors were so soft. I thought it was my soil and maybe they were getting too much of a certain mineral that had lessened when they faded. But now they are back to bright neon coral and neon pink. Like surfin' USA colors! Some of my visitors think that they are the greatest colors that they have ever seen on a rose, while I am quite appalled. Kristine, if you get a lot of heat, you might like Ebb Tide. Always hundreds (literally) of blooms here on mine but the color is dazzlingly bright fuchsia today. ET outproduces every single rose I have in number of blooms by tenfold.
