Stop spraying and don't water on a schedule. Give it a good soaking and then don't water again until you check the soil for dryness with a pointed dowel or checking to see how heavy the pot is. I can't see the potting soil but it may be able to go two or three weeks between watering.

Did you repot after you got it? Two things trouble me a little: the way the potting mix is pulling away from the edge of the pot and the fact that it looks crusty on the top. If you repotted did you open up the root ball little? What potting soil did you use?

My suggestion for watering would be to take it to the sink or outside, water thoroughly until it runs out the bottom. Let it drain thoroughly, I like to put it on a newspaper a few hours to wick out excess water. Then don’t water again until dry. Don’t water on a schedule. Tsuga is right.

No, I did not repot it. I asked the lady from the shop and she said I should repot it after 2 years. The soil is really wet if i stick my fingers in it. Just looking at the top of the soil I definetly did not expect it to be so wet. When I watered it, I poured the water more on the middle of the pot, not around the edges, maybe that is why the soil is pulling away from the edges. I did throw away any excess water running out the bottom. I'll try to contact the seller and find out what kind of soil mix they used.

I've ordered a xiaomi mi plant to monitor the plant/soil and should be getting it soon. Hoping it will help, since I'm a bit bummed I've managed to damage the plant in just 3 weeks...

Is it right in front of an East, West, or North window? Sure looks like it needs massively more light.

It's 3 meters from a West window. There's a linen curtain that blocks some of the light. I put in a xiaomi mi plant tester yesterday, these are the reading of the stats at 3:30 pm today(not sure how accurate this thing really is, but the temperature at least is right, my air purifier shows the same).

Update: I haven't watered yet at all, the sensor shows 51% soil moisture and the moisture has risen also to the surface(the surface was dry 2 weeks ago). The plant seems to have stopped from withering, so it's doing much better now. Thanks for the help!
