Are those some kind of storm shutters that close across the windows? Are you sure they are paintable? If you search this site for photos of "red tile roof" you'll see lots of inspiration pix. You'll be able to narrow down the possibilities by seeing actual homes with your roof color and the various ways they've been painted.

Yes thankfully they are paintable. Thanks so much for the idea for the search. My friend recently painted her house balanced beige and I really like it.

I’m definitely leaning towards a beige/gray color so that it matches with the roof but also takes into account the lake behind it.

Two light colors can end up looking as if one is "faded". Consider a lighter (off white "stone" without any yellow or pink hue) for the exterior walls and then use a darker color than you now have for your trim -- perhaps even your roof color or, since you don't have shingles or a lot of wide trim, even black.
