Pink begonias by a mailbox.
most fun mail box I have ever seen:
DH carved the flagstone sign "and" welded the mailbox stand.
No mailbox - the sign at the bottom of the driveway at our place in the woods.
My mailbox could use a paint job!
OK, this is really strange. When I chose this picture, it came in on it's side which has never happened before and just as I was ranting about that, it turned right side up. This forum never fails to confuse and annoy me.
murraysmom, I think your mailbox looks great as it is. Love the rustic look with the bright flowers underneath.
Not a mailbox, but a tiny Post Office.
Watering the front garden yesterday, after days of no watering and extremely hot temps. The only thing that looked bad was the last petunia. Bought some soil today so I could move one or two flowers as the African marigolds are huge, as are the zinnias, and are squeezing out the little purple flowering plant in the middle of them. I can't remember the name.
My mailbox and mailbox protector.
Eclectic or maybe junky looking. :-)
But your tin man even has a heart!
yeonassky I have a similar Tin Man. He's got a little red heart and is a bit more beat up and rusty from hanging in a tree than yours. I found mine at an Arts & Crafts show in Huntsville, TX about 12 yrs.ago.
Cool drewsmaga. Would you post a picture? I found mine at a garage sale for $5. I couldn't resist him. He's been with me for 20 years now. :-)
Funny that you noticed the heart Maire. No one usually does and I've always hung him beside it. He just had to have a heart... I felt so badly that he didn't :-).
Yeonassky, your Tin Man is cute! But I really REALLY love the hanging over the mailbox! Is it handcrafted? What is it made of? I'm practically drooling over it!
Rusty it is actually a step that you put into the garden. I purchased it at a dollar store. I just had it made into a hanging because I liked it so much too. :-)
