Comments (11)It doesn't matter that it was uprooted. Removing plants from a national forest without a permit is very illegal. If you wanted to save it legally, you should have either gotten a permit or placed it back in an appropriate location where you found it. Considering that you don't even know what the appropriate potting medium is for that Dudleya, it's best chance of survival was probably to just be left alone next to a rock where you found it.
