Hi Ido I strongly suggest you take the doors off the closet and refit it as a desk -- you can probably fit your two Macs side by side there. And I think there is room to the right of the closet for the printer. Where the bed is shown, give yourself one or two chairs and a small table for (paper-based) reading and coffee. I wanted to post a picture or two of closet-to-desk conversions, but alas Houzz is not allowing me to post pictures at the moment.

Maybe repost as a 'design dilemma' or on 'home decorating'? It looks like your space is about five feet wide and can extend down quite a bit. What do you mean by two computers, could you be more specific how many monitors, printers, etc. Do you need storage space for files for your work, or wall space to post instructions or directives, for example? How many people are in your household -- do you need visual privacy? Is your home computer mostly for web surfing? Good luck!

@Jess. You're Welcome! It's difficult to get a perfect room and your needs in a small space. For me, placing the desk there, would be fine for these reasons.... This is a Dual-Purpose Room 1. Your desk has a light weight feeling to it, it's not bulky, although one with more storage might be better functionally. (which is still ok) Not a lot of choices for you 2. Because you enter the room moving to the left, that pathway is all clear. 3. You won't run into a desk at current space, when entering the room 4. Better use of the space between the closet and doorway, given it's construction 5. Visually, a better, more inviting floor plan overall 6. Furniture placements are more aesthetically pleasing (better balance) 7. Better use of space you have 8. Sofa & coffee table area are inviting and functional. It won't feel like there is nowhere else to place the sofa in your home 9. You will 'feel' good about the room and like going in there 10. The room might even feel larger

We had a similar office in a prior home and we outfitted it with a large credenza/hutch on the top wall, a lateral file cabinet in the bottom right corner, and the desk perpendicular to the left wall. My husband preferred to sit on the bottom side of the desk facing the credenza, but facing the window is also an option…would just need to move the desk further down the wall to have more space between the desk/credenza. The second option gives easier access to credenza, if that’s a priority. Bottom line is…there is plenty of room to set up a generous office with lots of storage.
