living room set up

Hi there. I’m looking for ideas on furniture layout, we will be getting new couches (thinking maybe couch and love seat) or L shapes couch. Also discussed a dining table area on the far end of the living room. Could you throw out some general ideas that you think could work for this length of the house living room. It’s very stale to me as well so we may add new paint color ! Thank you so much!

I personally like a sofa and two swivel chairs. That way, you can position the chairs where they are best for conversation, but they can turn toward the TV when needed.

The TV is too high you need a cabinet below it at the height that brings the TV so that the center of the screen is at eye level when you are seated. What is the big empty space for? IMO if this is all LR you need 2 seatng areas and IMO one for TV and one for the FP would be perfect. If you post a to scale floor plan we could help better ,

Your sectional seems too big for the room. How about setting it against the wall, with the tv across in the entry path? That might help balance the space. Then add some tall case goods to that long entry wall. And an area rug.
