Nice house and yard. Consider choosing a dark bold brown for the fascia/soffit (and, perhaps, around your bold red door) but leave all the window trim white. You could then consider choosing a dark bold brown for window trim as well.

Is the trim around the windows paintable? I ask bc you’ve got a lot of things going on between the front door color, the siding and the brick. The trim around the windows further distracts.

I did not provide enough information and also my photos were not detailed enough to show that the actual (brand new) WINDOWS (from Window World) are NOT the same color as the old painted wood surrounding them. We think it will be impossible--and not look particularly good--to paint the wood to "match." They are a shade of beige, but it appears to have a slight undertone of green to it. We wanted to keep the shutters to add more color, but I get your point and appreciate your feedback!

I don't see why not. I understand that the builder should be certified to work with Hardie. Maybe you can check into that.
