Hi, I'm Laura and looking for seeds, needless to say. : ) I have garlic, not seed, but can mail you all the bulbs you want. It came from my great-grandaddy's parents home place. We've never saved seed, no need to. It grows, divides and spreads all on it's own. It will die back during the hottest part of summer and again in winter. We mow over it and then it starts coming back. I have no idea of the variety but am planning to find out this spring when it blooms, hopefully. I also just requested tomato seeds from WinterSown.com and will get them in 3 or 4 weeks and would be willing to trade some of those. I won't know for sure which varieties until they get here though. Anyway, if you are interested, I need: broccoli, carrots, radish, spinach, eggplant, crook neck yellow squash (have excellent old family recipe for pickled squash might be willing to swap for : ), asparagus, onions, potatoes, lady cream peas, kale, several types of leaf lettuce, mustard greens, sweet corn sweet basil, holy basil, cilantro, oregano, sage, dill, fennel, rosemary flowers bees like I live in zone 8 so it's very hot and humid, so prefer varieties that do well in those conditions. Hi, I don't have any garlic, but have some great heirloom squash seeds, and some violet crowns. Would you be interested?

Do any of you folks have any garlic and onions ( multiplier or what do you have) to offer for trade for some perennial plants? Really would like gardeners advice on the best garlic they grow and how hardy they are. I am in zone 5a. Illinois. Thanks, hope some one has some extras from their 2013 harvest. Trying my hand on growing something I can eat beside the tomatoes I grow.
