area rug for living room dining
Would like suggestions for area rug for this living room. Will be purchasing coffee table this week but not sure if rug should go under sectional or just in front under coffee table. Would like to introduce some color (red!) to the room. Wondering if my red oriental would work. Room adjoins open kitchen/dining area. Everything is black & white & grey.

3 years agolast modified: 3 years agoWhy is the section not placed in a better location on the large wall? Everything seems shoved toward the windows. Is there a reason your sectional cannot be moved back like I have positioned it in the photo below?

3 years agoSome more pix. Centered sectional around tv. The small rug leads out to covered deck that leads to pool. Just there for wet feet coming in.

I believe this layout below serves your room better Instead of walking into the back end of the sectional, you walk into the open end of the sectional.
These rooms below are so much more interesting because the seating area is open to the entrance.
