Hello Houzz!

I'm looking for some input on black vs graphite railing spindles. attached is a photo of our kitchen in progress, the chosen granite and flooring. The railing photo is from the supplier's display and what we originally chose (white paint grade with matte black). For reference there is ALOT of railing in the house and it is directly opposite the kitchen.

We were convinced to change to textured graphite spindles for durability (doesn't show scratches) and cleaning (doesn't show dust). I can't shake the feeling that the black is more striking but also don't want to spend precious time dusting or filling scratches. Also concerned that, due to the amount of railing, the black would get tiring.

I don't have a photo of the graphite - it is dark, but not black.
