Does anyone else feel like GW just got 'side lined' into Houzz?
Comments (40)I have always loved Houzz and used their pictures as inspiration for my kitchen reno, however, it was GW that helped me pull it all together. I got actual sources, advice, support and, dare I say it, "love" from GW. A totally different thing from what I've used Houzz for. This merger doesn't make sense to me, unless Houzz was somehow worried about the power GWers had on large purchasing decisions. If you like the GW enough to buy it; then let it be. It wasn't broken. Thanks for the opportunity to say my piece....See MoreCall Out to Emily -- Check the Sorting of Commments in Threads!
Comments (13)Try using the GW bookmark to get to the forum. It makes the comments be in the correct order for me. https://www.gardenweb.com/discussions/kitchbath It appears to just be a Houzz glitch. Comments (9)No but i am having a bugger of an issue with comcast mail-- i noticed my outbox was full this afternoon-- it included emails I had sent saturday through Monday morning! I had to go into a meeting so I sent the only critical email from another account. When I returned to deal with it about an hour ago, I saw that all my messages were sent at 2:02pm today. Makes no sense! Anyhow-- if you have Comcast maybe the glitch is with them? I don't have a way of knowing if i am receiving all my comcast emails on time... well, unless I got a sale email 2 days after it ended!...See MoreAnyone else dealing with the new Covid variant?
Comments (94)I hope you are doing well now heritagehd07. I spent many hours during the pandemic with someone recovering from cancer. In his case, they caught if and did surgery just a couple of months before the shut downs and other rules went into place. But it was a difficult time non the less. He was doing his best to save his business while not knowing if he would live to see the outcome. We developed a deep bond of friendship developed during that first year. My best friend underwent a knee surgery to repair a botched procedure 3 days before shelter in place was announced. I was by her side right until they took her into surgery. Little did we know that would be the last time I would see for almost a year. She had to go into long term rehab since she had to be have her leg immobilized for several months before she could begin PT. No visits, food, not even prepackaged and factory sealed, everyone masked and vaccinated, regular testing of staff and patients and yet during that time Covid ran through the facility multiple times. A lot of people simply don't have an understanding of how difficult some of the policies for almost two years in some areas wreaked havoc on people's lives. Or, they refuse to admit it....See Morepippabean_5b
