Believe it or not, they will not be stocking seed potatoes this year as the demand for them have gone down in recent years. Also, your walk through was helpful. Thanks. Michael357, Thanks for the link. It was chock full of info! DarJones, you must be reading my mind. Those are the three type of potaoes and three sources I have narrowed my search to. Now that is funny! ;-D Cyrus Gardener, thank you for the walk through. I am now more confident that I can grow these than I was before. Very detailed and informative. Now one further question. When I order the potaoes, I still may not be able to plant these in March or April, as I need to re-locate the raised beds to a little bit more sunny area. Depending on when I do that dictates the planting time for the veggies. But that is dictated on the new site and the hardness of the ground. I need to dig up some perennials and a few shrubs before I move the beds. So the earlier the ground gets softer, the earlier I can dig up the current plant, then move the beds... (you get the idea!) Now I think I read somewhere that you can plant each potato slip in a large container (2 or 3 gallon bucket for each slip) and leave it outside and allow it to grow that way. If that is true, how well do potatoes tranplant? Thanks for an additional help anyone can give on this question!

I don't think you insulted anyone. We daylily addicts love our addiction, and believe me you can fall into the trap really quick! I started out 10 years ago with just a few from Lowe's fall clearance rack. The next year I heard of a wonderful thing, people actually grow daylilies to sell and to show and they have "open house day". My DH and I drove over 90 miles to one of these gardens. Instead of just the old ones that I had found a Lowe's, here was huge reds, yellows that had black eyes and OH ME!!! a yellow that had a huge black eye and edge! I had never seen anything so beautiful in my life. I quickly checked the catalog list that I was given when we arrived and this wonderful daylily sold for $150 and this was 1999. I'd never seen nor heard of a plant that sold for that much money!!! After seeing all the beautiful reds, pinks, cranberry, yellow, near whites, and all the colors in the rainbow, I was HOOKED!! Addicted!!! IN JUST ONE DAY!! I knew then that I would one day have that daylily that was selling for $150. I don't remember the name, but I do now have many with the big black edge and eye. I didn't give nearly that much, maybe $25 but I did have to wait 5 or 6 years to get what I wanted. I'm guilty of having paid $170 for 2 fans of an unknown seedling. I'm gambling that it will be a winner. It could be a new into or it could be tossed on the compost pile. Following that, I've paid between $2 to $100 on over 100 varieties of daylilies. I'm pretty happy with what I have now. The "I gotta have it" stage of my addiction is over, mostly! I still see one or 2 a year that really cause my heart to race, but my money now goes on potting soil, compost, fertilizer and mulch. I hybridize daylilies, grow the seeds and pray for a beauty in maybe 2 or 3 years. I also have purchased 100's of seeds to get a jump on some of the really expensive daylilies. I've paid as much as $5 per seed. I've seen seed sell for over $20 for 1 seed on the Lily Auction. I forget just how much some did go for last year. So, yes, we can be very silly! Thank you both. I called Rohl to ask about this and they said 3/16" is within their tolerance. Bluekit, I saw the atticmag pics before, but I looked more closely this time and noticed a few variations I hadn't seen before. Joshua, does the sink in the top 2 pictures have what's considered a negative reveal? I thought a negative reveal would cover the rim completely, and this seems to show a little of it. I like the way this looks but I'm afraid the high spot on the back rim would still show the thick caulk on either side of it. Do you think white caulk will make it less noticeable? BTW, since you're around installations a lot, have you noticed what kind of support the farm sinks usually have? Have you seen any with only a 3/4" sheet of plywood?

girl_wonder, don't worry, I was unprepared to so many things I won't bore you with the list..)) so I went to see what I store there..or rather, my kids-it's a hall bathroom so it's theirs when they're home, and guests'-and it's easier to say what's not there. My stuff is not.(it's in the master) And supplies and seasonal things(like bug sprays etc) are in the closet in the corridor. I also have several hiding places for medicines allover the house. (for who knows when fate might strike right? lol) Otherwise..it's shaving cream, and alcohol(I mean the one that desinfects), and all sorts of medicines, and creams, and spare soaps and deodorants and shampoos and I don't know what else. Yes, whatever they use daily is in the upper part of the cabinet. But not neccessarily. As for your other question, regarding vintage cabinet next to plain mirror-no, it doesn't have to look unbalanced. We did something similar in my MIL's bath . It really depends on proportions and everything else. Will you recess it? If not-it'll go last anyway, and you'll already have all the elements there, and it'll be much easier to figure out what works , what not, and where exactly to put it so it's most pleasing to the eye and most functional height to use. Whether to go with a long storage cabinet at all or do something else..well it depends on your bath. My hall bath is small, pretty hardworking, the vanity is 36'( I think), it's second hand too and looks light because it has open shelves-I didn't want to overwhelm that bathroom.. The shelves look fine because I use bins there so everything's contained. But I sorely needed much more storage. Hence the biggest ready-made cabinet I could get. Frankly I was going to buy some cool vintage doors, and started hunting for them -but then they explained to me that I might end up paying thousand and more to build a frame to fit old cool doors. That sad fact brought me to Wayfair. Otherwise I'd have cool vintage doors wherever I could. I had big plans and all that. In our master we have wall cabinet only in the restroom and it's also vintage and has glass, as a roll of toilet paper aside-I put there things that look pretty. Main space-we have long roomy vanity, custom-made and very conveniently planned, so no need for medicine cabinet. Everything fits inside. We also have a tiny-tiny powder room, and there we put another vintage cabinet over the toilet and across the mirror. There also the vanity is tiny (rather a stand..also vintage), so the mirror has small shelf (took me months to find a mirror with a shelf that'd fit there. Also Wayfair. And frankly-it's a high price for the quality. , The cabinet holds standard jazz medicines, tooth brushes for guests etc, I like how mirrored vintage cabinet is reflected in the mirror, and vice versa. It's really a tiny space. . So it depends on so many things-how many bathrooms are there in the house, their sizes, what else will be there in terms of storage, how many people will use it, what are their needs, what are their habits, what are most realistic scenarios for your family.. My mantra usually is-increase smart storage whenever possible. What's smart-will depend. I come from urban living and tight quarters and many people who share them. It always looked pretty, clean, and ready for guests too (guests were big part of life) because of how it was organized. Bungalow from 40 s sounds very cool. I hope you'll achieve there just that right vibe you look to achieve. Sounds exciting, anxiety aside. I'd rather use something not recessed if I already have one recessed plain mirror cabinet, and different in nature so it all looks intentional -or something concealed and not taking any attention. Make sure if you haven't yet that your electrical plan for sconces will work in your space. Saying that just because I had a plan, and hunted very pretty sconces, and all-but it turned out to be too narrow a space, and sconces could somehow be fit but looked like my life at its low point. Seeing the plan with measurements will be helpful, if/whenever you decide to ask specific questions.
