Sumod- The medicine cabinets are simple wood frames with a cabinet-grade plywood back that just sit in the stud cavity. Because of the dimensions, the front of the frame projects about 1"+ beyond the finished wall. The medicine cabinet doors are also plywood with veneered edges and they are attached to the frame with standard cabinet hinges (Euro hinges). The mirrors are just 1/4" plate glass ordered to size from a glass shop and held in place with mirror mastic and a metal strip at the bottom that you don't really see. The guy who did the cabinets just made the medicine cabinets as part of the job. I don't know about the door brand...we live in a large metro area that has lots of door shops and the doors are just solid core maple doors with the center cut out and a maple panel held in with molding. They're not stained; they simply have a couple coats of clear spray lacquer.

@Slough Shark we are just getting started with the master bath in our new (budget) build- although we have hired a reputable tiler to do the tile work. 4x16 white glossy subways for the shower walls and grey pebble mosaic for the shower floor. Bathroom floor tile is a dark grey and I am struggling to pick a grout for the floor tile. I want to use the same color for the mosaic and hexagon floor tile. Looks like your floors might be about the same color... could you post a pic of the floor tile? Im considering pewter or dove gray from custom building products. i am now debating choosing rolling fog instead of platinum for the subways after seeing your results!!

That tile is beautiful - and quite costly. Just google Arts & Crafts tile. Better yet, google Arts & Crafts bathrooms to get some inspiration. If you want to wallpaper check out Bradbury for some beautiful authentic Craftsman papers Bradbury Wallpapers The thing that must be changed is that countertop and that would be a relatively easy fix. There is no picture of the shower - can you disguise it somewhat with a curtain to minimize that awful cultured marble.

White to match the field on walls. Or the PALEST gray. Palest gray on shower floor. Just note that any contrasted grout, especially on white subway, requires absolute perfection in install. Depends the look you want, but white subway is classic, and so is a match in grout. also........NON busy.
