Hi MiSchelle, Gee, sounds like me. I've been a member for years too and never missed a day logging in. Then, for some reason, I just became lax. Just yesterday, thought about it and 'got hooked' again:) I, too, have loved gardening since a small child. We lived in an apartment in NYC, and my grandfather had this 'garden' for me on the fire escape of a third floor!! p.s. I didn't know until years later that is illegal to put ANYTHING on a fire escape; but it was the top floor anyway:) I've never lost the love of gardening and would rather take care of gardens on ten properties than do housecleaning!! I have about 2 acres here but I learned quickly how planting here is NOT the same as planting in NY. I had to have backhoes come in to dig up all the 'boulders' and clay soil ..... only to have to bring in semis of soil to backfill. It took a good couple of years to get the soil 'right' and I still have a very long way to go. I don't know about where you are, but here it is very 'wooded' .... oaks and pines almost 100 feet high all around. p.s. IRL, I ALSO am known to "talk a LOT" :) Peggy

I never got any feedback from anyone on their tubs. The Italian tub that I liked is close to $3000 and I had to face the reality that it just breaks the budget. The double-ended antique that southernmum likes is beautiful - a great buy - but I think it may be a little too deep for me. I'm only 5'2" and it's 27.9" high. Which tub did you like? I recently found tubs by Maax that are priced in the $1500-2000 range - the Jazz, Sax and Ella embossed, Ella sleek - but they're 66" x 36" x 24" high- just a little lower which makes a BIG difference at my height Take a look and tell me what you think. Hi all! I did a forum search and got no hits, so I'm hoping someone can share their experiences. We are building a new bathroom in our 100+ year old house and I love the showers with the exposed pipes/valves. I've looked at all I can find, and so far my favorites style-wise are from the online catalog of Baths From the Past. I don't know how to judge their quality though, and I'm hoping to find someone who has purchased from them. My husband and I don't tend to be "top of the line" kind of people, but we want a good solid performer that will give us 20 years of decent performance. Any help? Thanks!

The basement of our lakeside cottage floods regularly and we have received comparable estimates from ITG (Basement Systems Waterguard) and Mid-Atlantic for interior perimeter/sump pump systems. Does anyone have a story to share about either company or system? We're willing to pay if it works but will be sore as h*** if it doesn't. Thanks!
