Friday & Saturday blooms
Comments (20)Oops, Ellie is right. Senior moment, always been bad with names, I'm going to have to pay more attention. Here is my Lake Norman Spider The one I first posted is Loch Ness Monster. Thanks Ellie! Avedon, Royal Occasion can melt down here too, but has been good so far this year. We've had lower temps the last week or more though, under 90. When it gets to mid 90s it really breaks down. Tuscawilla Blackout seems to melt worse than RO. I moved Royal Occasion last fall, maybe it is where I planted it, between lighter daylilies, it really stands out this year. I planted Tuscawilla Bill Reed in my white garden, thinking it was very white. I may move it elsewhere, but it really is a good daylily. Nice substance August Wedding had its first 2 blooms in my garden yesterday, perfect blooms, just love the daylilies you don't have to wait for a good bloom. I guess everyone knows how I love Clown Parade....See MoreCatching up with some blooms from Friday
Comments (13)Thank you for sharing those beauties with us. I received Joan Derified as a bonus this year and your photo of it makes me realize I was lucky! I love Mary Alice Stokes and Key To My Heart...they have been on my wish list for awhile and your pics are gorgeous. Fairest of Them certainly lives up to its name! And I like the spiders Thin Man and Long Tall Sally. I like how huge the blooms are. I enjoyed your post! Celeste...See MoreCatching Up: Blooms from Thursday and Friday

Comments (13)Beautiful flowers all of them. Zeuss sure looks comfy. I've been really behind in my posting on the forum shame on me. It's been a hard weekend for me as I had to put Little Boy to sleep today he had a medical condition called mega colon and after fighting it for eight months the medication stopped working and the only medical options was surgery to remove his colon which would have left him with very little control of his bowels, I just couldn't put him through all of the pain and possible complications. His passing leaves a big empty hole in my heart. He was such a sweet loving little guy who came into my life as a stray I like to think that it was God's way of taking care of such a sweet little soul because he would have died a very slow painful death without treatment, instead he finished out his life being well loved and taken care. So sorry to ramble on so much. Linda...See Moredaylilybedmaker
