I had a paper jam and when I fixed the darn thing my printer would only copy, not print!!!

Went on the HP virtual help desk and it was great!!! Only took an hour and a half, but eventually they went in remotely and fixed it! I am so grateful to them. I was ready to get on Amazon and order another printer. I remember when I first got this HP and I called them and they went in remotely and set it all up for me. Our first printer was and HP and lasted forever!

My dear sister, who is a computer geek, hates printers. She used to do computer support and would go crazy when she would get a call about a printer. She very nicely told them that was their IT departments problem, she could not help!

I had a Canon Multifunction laser printer that I'd had for awhile. It worked great, I liked it. About 8 months ago, it had a paper jam. I hastily and without much care (because I had other things on my mind) tried to open what would open to pull out the paper but all the same the result was several little pieces stuck way back in the mechanism that I couldn't reach with any tool, couldn't get it unjammed no matter what, and it rendered the machine dead and unusable.

I replaced it that day with a Brother with similar features and wow, I like it so much better. More pages per minute, better print clarity, better scanning. I'm glad I put no effort into trying to save the Canon, I look back on that jam as having done me a favor.

I too replaced a Canon with a Brother HL2240 and it's been flawless over 5 years. I like it when things just work.

We have been talking about OHV engines. Your engine is a flathead (side valve) engine. These engines do not get out of adjustment as readily as an OHV engine and there is no adjustment. To get proper clearance, you have to remove the heads and grind the valve stems IF too close or grind the valves and perhaps the seats IF too wide. The Intake valve clearance is what is critical on your engine. Walt conner

Well whatever the value of the subject HP, Amazon is now sold out at the price I was considering. I've found a Gateway 17.3" for a few dollars less, and my past experience with Gateway has been good - but so what? things change. I am currently using my old Gateway in a desktop setup so the cracked screen isn't an issue... it is running great. Gateway NE71B10u 17.3-Inch Laptop AMD E-Series Dual-Core E2-1800 1.7 GHz (1 MB Cache) 6 GB DDR3 750 GB 5400 rpm Hard Drive 17.3-Inch Screen, AMD Radeon? HD 7340 Graphics Windows 8, 4-hour battery life Also has a USB 3.0 and the 6 GB/750GB looks real good, should hold up memory-wise for a few years...but then don't take my advice on that one. Not trying to jerk all my friends around, please consider this just an update for those who have provided advice/views on my HP machinations. I may yet set back to a 15.6" and there is a Gateway the same as the above less the larger screen.

1, My only experience with growing under lights is peppers. Ive grown them under lower wattage HPS and MH, and they both produced well. HPS produced taller plants with washed-out looking leaves. MH seemed to make them grow more compact, and the leaves kept a nicer green color - similar to fluorescent. 2. the more the better, whatever you can afford bulb wise and electricity wise. If you're just trying to overwinter and not actively grow, i would think the 600w might be sufficient. depends on the spread and density of the leaves of your particular plants. 3. dont really have any experience with this, but the fan option sounds better to me. The closer the light to the plants, the better.

I love HP. We sell HP laptops at work but I don't let customers buy them because they're to low end really slow ones and customers don't like them. But now and then we are sent a good (decent) gaming laptop ($900). When a customer wants one, first thing I do is tell them to set up the laptop then phone HP and buy their extended warranty. It's not expensive and has the best coverage. They replaced my hard drive when I dropped my laptop! If you spill a coffee on your computer, they'll fix it!

The laptop I'm using now is an ASUS. My husband bought it for me. Not my first choice as it's a gaming laptop. I'm not a gamer. I do photography....... And we never bought the extended warranty on this one.

Loved my HP 3 in 1 flatbed. It worked super great for many years. I bought a new ' cheap' brand one so i could use wifi with it. Not HP. That thing was a joke in so many ways. I recently bought a new HP 3 in 1 but not a flatbed. Supposed to be the world's smallest printer,scanner, copier. I haven't set it up yet but if it works like my first one I will be very happy!
