Help. Removed appliance, how to fill gap in cabinets
Comments (8)I have a similar gap in my kitchen that I built purposefully. I had simple wooden rails built and the space was designed to be exactly the correct width for a standard sheet pan. Now I have all my sheet pans easily accessible, as well as cooling racks and cutting boards and a roasting pan. The space is infinitely flexible....See MoreHelp-How to fill gap between new pavers and sliding glass door
Comments (6)millworkman, I will ask them about this, thank you for your thoughts! We are in South Florida, so right now lots of heavy rain in bursts. We got about 8 quotes and not one recommended busting out old tile. They said there is metal and concrete by the sliding door so they chipped out what they could, we did tell them we are replacing doors in next year. Also we have a covered area that has composite decking and now the pavers, while not level to decking, are much closer in height than before, maybe that's why no one recommended demo of old deck?...See MoreHow do I fill the baseboard gap? Shoe molding too small
Comments (8)This is really easy to fix. Just install nailer strips under the baseboard. That will give you a backer to nail the shoe molding to. If you have a table saw, just buy some wood the same thickness as your baseboard and rip it down. If you don't have a table saw, buy wood the same thickness and chop saw it down, making sure you have a filler piece at every point where you will nail the shoe in. When you nail your fillers in make sure the nail is long enough to get into the bottom plate....See MoreHow did you fill the gap between your counter and range
Comments (3)@Beverly, I called Wolf this morning. The model number for the filler trim that goes with Wolf's new transitional induction range is 9022633. The part retails for $100 and is only available in 22 3/8" (stainless) which isn't long enough for our extra deep counters. I'm planning to submit a quote request to Microtrim later this week. If prices aren't too crazy expensive I may go ahead and get a custom 3-sided stainless filler trim so we can go ahead and pull out a range to be flush with our drawer fronts. So far I'm really liking our new range!...See MoreCindyR
