OK I bought a Singapore. So kick me...or advise me?
Comments (2)Beach-I'm not going to be the one to kick you...LOL I don't have a Singapore. Tried it a few years back and became discouraged with the constant problems with rust and spider mites. With all that being said, people here have gorgeous Singapore's that would make anyone envious. I think its a matter of taste, don't you? Now, I am trying a Hong Kong after being inspired by some pic's that Freak4Plumeria posted. The flower in my opinion is so much lovelier than a Singapore. Again it's all subjective. Only time will tell(meaning Beaumont winters) if it will be a success. Fingers crossed. Good luck with that Singapore!...See Moreshow me (or tell me) the background to your range hood!
Comments (14)twodogs, I thought the same thing. Boy did I have a story, complete with a nail biting deadline of Thanksgiving, receiving damaged packaging, torrential rain (ok, not torrential, after all I'm in Ca.) but rain enough to prevent climbing on the roof without a safety net, last minute drive through rush hour traffic and torrential rain (really!) to see a craigslist external blower the exact same model as my damaged one (what are the chances of that?) and cajoling my contractor in to braving the rain and working the day before Thanksgiving to install my blower on a slippery wood shake roof. I spotted him the whole time. So, since the op is just looking for stories about range hood backsplashes, and I don't have one, just plain sheetrock at the moment, and probably for many moments to come, I guess I don't have anything to contribute. ps, I saved $800 on the blower!...See MoreShow Me (or tell me about) Your Desk/office in Kitchen & give ide
Comments (7)Here you go, the uppers have the calander hanging on one side and emergency numbers on right door and all the office things live here. There is an outlet for charging cameras and "my" stuff. On the counter is an outlet for the land line. Antique tray is our magnet board. Top drawer has a powerstrip attached to the back for DH's electronics this is "his" drawer for keys and anything else. Bottom drawer is the coupons, and "junk" drawer as I have found it is inevitable! Basket is home for shoes. There is now a cushion on the dog kennel. Once Buddy is no longer we can pop an end panel on kennel and the lid under cushion lifts for more storage. Hope this helps!
