HELP... I need help picking a lighting style and finish
Comments (3)That's a fairly dark gray. I hope there are lots of windows for natural light. If you select satin chrome light fixtures they will be the same value as your walls and blend in to the walls. I would contrast with fixtures in an iron like or blackish bronze finish Designers do not typically recommend lights on ceiling fans. The quality of the light is typically not flattering....See MoreI need help picking out an island light

Comments (1)That is a truly beautiful and elegant kitchen. i can see why you'd want to replace the backsplash. I think you'd tire less of the lighter tile in the long run. For starters on the lighting, I'd check anything by Visual Comfort & Co from Circa Lighting. The light quality from those lights is superb. Also take a look at the modern designs from Hinkley Lighting. On your floor, you might consider a product like Loba's 2K Invisible Protect or Loba 2K Supra A.T. without a stain. White oak in lighter tones is very popular right now without any stain. Here's a video showing how Loba products prevent tannin pull in white oak when applied correctly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kbu7kCzd1P0...See MorePicking out light fixtures- need help matching
Comments (1)By the way, I have 9ft sloped ceiling in the dining room/living room space. 9 ft in entry way. Only 8 ft in kitchen and living room (hence why we went with recessed only). Kitchen island is 10 ft long but only 30 inches wide so we can’t go too wide on the light but will need 3 lights to cover the long space. Thanks all in advance for reading my long winded post....See MoreRL Relocation LLC
