I need help in adding color and some furniture to my living room. I would like to have a neat flowing relaxing vibe.nothing too bright but not dull either. Not dark. I don’t have a lot of light
Sorry it took so long. (Everyone I know wants to interrupt my virtual life as a dog.) I didn't do much except change the art and the rug and adjust the lighting. In fact, that's the first thing you must deal with: the lighting. If you intend to keep that track fixture, replace all those bulbs with something closer to daylight range to eliminate the yellow. Look for bulbs with a color temperature of somewhere around 4000°K.
I eliminated your new end table because it's too tall for both the sofa and the chair. Your other end table has to go because it's not the right style. I substituted a handy little C-table, mostly because it was oriented correctly for this view of your room.
I chose a plain jute rug because the parquet is so busy.
I will try a few more rugs and work on your TV wall next.
