Not a fan of the plan shown -- sinks or windows ... or even the layout. You'd be better served with you large sink centered on that outside wall and have your stove and refrigerator at a right angle to them on each side of a corner cabinet opposite each other, thus keeping the traditional kitchen triangle intact. Then extend the cabinets/countertops evenly along the opposite walls -- to nearly the patio door. You could then add a floor to ceiling pantry across from the patio door to make up for the lack of overhead cabinet space you'll not have as a result of wanting more windows. However, If you really want your refrigerator and Consider matching sets of windows or at least windows of the same size in width/height.. You could have one large set of windows in the middle over a deep double sink with an upper cabinet on each side https://www.pinterest.com/pin/183099541085462446/ and if you want more windows, you could either add a pair of windows to this row of windows and/or have either a single window or a pair of windows on each side of those cabinets by your center window set. If you're going to have two sinks on the same countertop, make the match. Alternately, you could continue the countertop on the right so that it ends closer to the patio door (even if you need to shorten the length of your island by 24") and add a different sized but similar sink there and use it as a "bar"/serving area. Including an appliance garage in the right corner and add outlet(s) in the backsplash between it and the patio door for your coffee pot, etc. -- also adding glass door cabinets above specifically designed for displaying your coffee cups and drinking glasses and mugs of every kind. If you have an under counter wine or soda fridge or separate ice maker, these could be located there.

Hi All, Im a silent reader here and I think its time to post and ask for help! We bought a house, and we are turning a year at this place on February. We’ve been using our old furnitures since and few weeks from now, we will be getting our new couch and love seat. i have no ideas at all on how to design anything. i bought a snow white leather look couch, affordable and better than what we have. I thought white will be the safest way to go. If you will ask me how i wanted my living room to look like, uhm my heart melts every time i see rustic layouts but again, for now i think i will go for just what will make it look nicer- basics but pretty. i have attached some pictures on how it is now, please dont hate my living room. Advice I need is whee to put the furniture what color i can use for my living room, that curtain is already new (i know it looks like its not) i have a big window and fireplace and an odd living room size. if you notice my house is so bare- no wall arts fireplace full of plants, i just have a clock on the wall (took me 4 months to decide on that)

A sectional would work nicely here. But I would do a couch on the window wall and one across the future tv/FP

Are you prepared for all new flooring? Or do you have enough of the current flooring to fill in the gap caused by taking out that wall? I feel like your inspirations are really close to the feel of what you have, and you could just get new (Shaker) doors and move on. Maybe if we had (undistorted) photos of the dining area, we could better see what you're trying to fix. You can't make the island bigger toward the entry door, and if you elongate it toward the dining room, then you're not getting as much more space as you think. I guess the range is the thing on the DR wall, with nothing next to it? I can see that as a major flaw to correct. Not easy to place it on the current sink wall. Probably the most practical designs would involve cutting off the peninsula, putting the fridge to the far left of window, range to right, and then sink on the island (easiest). Bay window requires internal and external structural changes, and then the fridge is *way* too far from the main sink, so you probably need a prep sink in the (enlarged) island too. See what your designer would do with either of those approaches.
