Yes, but depending on the skill level of the installer it may look like crap without the touchup being blended. It may look that way anyway with touchup in that many places.

i agree... it's very difficult to cover up the hole. you will definitely see the holes and they will end up bothering you. i think the pulls look fine. they are more practical and easier than knobs on your hands for drawers.

Do not do that you just got new cabinets and now you want to wreck them. I do not find that looks too busy.

Buy new doors or leave it the way it is. It’s functionally better the way it is.

I think your kitchen looks really pretty:) If the pulls look too busy to you after another few months, consider changing them to pulls with less contrast. I like them the way they are - and I really tend to notice and be distracted by "business" - so I think the pulls are fine.

I have knobs on my wood cabinets and like them - but pulls protect better from wear because they reduce hands touching the painted surface. With painted cabinets, I would use pulls.

Don't do it. You are going to see where the extra hole was. Especially with a factory finished paint job. I see that your kitchen is not completely finished. You should wait until you are completely done before deciding. I think everything so far looks pretty darn good. And it's easy to see that your kitchen will look beautiful when done.

Thank you both for your comments. I think waiting is the right thing. Once the backsplash is in and everything painted it probably wont bug me! I am afraid there will be no way to really camaflouge the hole.

I think the handles look really nice. Maybe you just need to get used to them. You are right, the hole would always show. Your kitchen is new, dont wreck the doors.

Your kitchen is gorgeous! You are over thinking and second guessing things right now....it is a stage that we all encounter at some point in a renovation. Deep breaths. Complete your kitchen. I prefer pulls over knobs. Over time the knobs start to turn and turn and the thread gets worn out. Pulls stay as is.

Maybe change the finish of it to brushed nickel.

From the computer it looks as though they are an antiqued finish.

The Brushed nickel will blend.

Can't tell you how many tears in clothing have happened with knobs at just the right spot to catch on pockets. I prefer pulls. Can you simply exchange them for the same item in a different finish to brighten a bit?

Thanks for the suggestions. The colors aren’t accurate in computer photo. There is a dark gray with the browns and creams in counter. The faucet is a two toned gray. The dark gray in faucet matches countertop and light gray is same as pulls. Pulls are ash gray from top knobs. It’s a soft gray. I purposefully didn’t do the nickel because I was looking for a different look. But you are right that would be a good way to minimize the pulls.

The house has an old stone fireplace in living room with same colors as counter. Browns creams and gray. I was looking for a rustic, industrial look and the pulls and faucet tie it in. Agree about the knobs (and some pull styles) that catch clothing. These won’t so that’s nice! I probably should have done I smaller pull. Love the size on the peninsula side. Smaller on the other side would have been less in your face! Hoping once backsplash is in it will flow better. Backsplash is porcelain putty and picks up a tone in counter. I’ll do a same color grout so it flows.

That is a costly change to make... leave it alone. It looks great! Plus your space is not even finished yet - no backsplash, not painted...
