Hopefully, that memory may encourage them to aim a little higher as they plan their lives and move through their daily routines.

As you get to be an old fart ...you wonder how many days are left until you become only a memory - for *everyone*!!

My mom no longer remembers me but she smiles when she sees me. I hope the smiles come from warmth and some remembered, albeit distant, love.

Sometimes some non-threatening humour can help us explain some different viewpoints to people deeply convinced of viewpoints that seem unproductive, or even dangerous, to us. ole joyful ... the "joyful" added later - forgot to hit "space" first time written, forgot that makes the previous word disappear ... and didn't notice prior to posting (and had to write "posting" again ... as forgot the penalty for not, again).
