White exterior Black interior windows
Comments (16)We actually are doing this exact combination on our home right now. Our siding is dark grey and so we went with white windows because they popped next to the dark siding. Inside I fell in love with all the interior black window pictures and opted to black inside. We got our windows from Andersen and they were able to do that combo for us....See MoreWindows w/ Black Interior and White Exterior

Comments (5)Put the screen on the window. The jamb is far less noticeable. You only see that on the lower sash, the upper is covered. This is not abnormal. I don't know if that particular line has an option for the outside half of the jamb to be painted black, but many that use a jamb liner don't. The jambs match the interior color (most times), and the exterior color is on all exterior surfaces. In some cases the jamb liner is a third color entirely, I can't imagine how furious your husband would be then?! Even IF a black jamb is available, you'd still see that from the inside on the upper half instead of the lower. You are going to see a color other than the face that you are looking at one way or the other when you have a two toned window. There is no way around that....See MoreCan I do black exterior/black interior windows in main living area
Comments (6)Agree with Patricia - keep your windows. You're not going to want to cut holes in your house for them later and you might really miss the light. Plus removing windows is going to affect the appearance of the house from the outside. I assume someone thought long and hard about the window placement so if you remove some you will be negatively affecting the appearance of the house. Personally I don't agree with having half of your windows one color and half another, but this is something you will have to decide for yourself. I also think the black window thing is a trend which will pass in ten years or less, but there will be people who will disagree with me on that. All I know is that white has been used for hundreds of years but black has been used only rarely on just certain styles of homes. You don't need to replace your windows very often, so whatever you do you will be living with it for a long time....See MoreApple
