powder room wallpaper question

want to use wallpaper in our small guest powder room (see last photo below). I plan on changing lights & mirror to coordinate with wallpaper. should I wallpaper only 1 wall? Floor is Jerusalem tumbled marble and sink and fixtures seen in last photo. Any Suggestions?

Comments (23)Cindy - thanks for the info, the back of the paper does state it's washable, so hopefully they mean it! Shermann and Andrea - I have my challenges with little boys but this is our powder room, most of their cleanup happens between the basement bathroom or their upstairs bathroom. i can see the light switch being an issue, the paper states it's washable, so hopefully that will help. Treasure - you did not post your room in my other post so now worry. It's gorgeous, I was leaning towards #2 until I saw your room. Wow! thanks nutmegxo and caminnc- The wallpaper looks much more blue on the screen than in real life. In person, it's almost a blue/gray or even a hint of green to it. My house is pretty much a blank slate right now. We painted the foyer and the family room when we first moved in almost 4 years ago. I'm not a fan of the paint colors and will repaint. Comments (25)Well, you can do what you want as it's your bathroom, but I will mention that you don't have to "bring out" or match any of the fittings in a powder room. You can do anything from this: To this: So the question is what style do you like? Vintage, mcm, Victorian, contemporary....Look at other rooms that you love to discern your style. Ive seen it in person and the colours are more like the picture I posted. @tartanmeup I never considered how it would look with the flooring. Maybe you are right that the contrast is too stark. I know the paper is dark and so I also have samples of the two. below. Do you like these better? Which one? One wall? All walls? What paint colour with it? Like the blue one above, the scale on this is bigger. I have samples of both and the colours (on my screen at least) are pretty true to the real thing. This is why I LOVE this site. Comments (19)A black toilet is out. That was a design decision earlier on. My style for this room is contemporary/modern in sync with modern Italian vanity. I do like large florals but thought it might overpower the room. 3 years agoI guess we all tire of the finishes, etc... so seeing your window handle, what about some sheen like here? yes... might be good option for a tiny room, and narrow/tiny sconces.
