Laundry room paint - Deciding on the right white?

Robyn Anderson

We are painting our bright yellow laundry room with honey oak cabinets. This room has a small window facing south, with some morning light also coming in from multiple large windows in the adjoining east facing kitchen/dining room. We have warm tile and dark hardwoods throughout the house. We are building a board and batten wall a little more than halfway up one wall for hooks (backbacks, etc.) My initial plan is to paint this a darker, moody blue-green color such as BM Dark Pewter and the rest of the room white. I've painted swatches of BM White Dove (looks greyish), BM Simply White (looks bright/ good), SW Pure White (looks greyish) and BM Chantilly Lace (looks bright/good). I know Simply White and CL have higher LRVs but different hues. My question is - which white would look best (crisp but not sterile) with a moody dark wall in a smaller room with mainly morning light and warm floors?
