decided to take some pictures and thought I'd share.
Chewie, tomatoes, squash and okra
Very nice looking! Especially your helper :)
Emily, who is very old. She hurt her leg jumping the fence last week. She is now on antibiotics and an anti inflammatory. She bears weight on it now most of the time. I was afraid at first that she may have broken it.
Thanks Iris, the other 3 beds however, are full of weeds.
One of the massive pin oaks that I'm thinking about removing someday when I have the money. I love the tree, it's beautiful and gives me lots of privacy in the backyard but I'm afraid it will fall on the house someday.
Okra! Everything was planted a little late this year but it's growing fast.
Chewie on the other side of the yard...the other pin oak is to the right of him, crabapple to the left, weeping cherry far right...the fenced in area is where my watermelon are growing. I ddin't want them in the shot because it is mulched with newspaper and cardboard right now....not pretty
Beautiful yard, beautiful garden and I LOVE your dogs!
Green green of summer :o)
Lovely yard and pets. Hope Emily heals quickly and completely.
Emily is so sweet looking. Nothing like a troublemaker jumping fences. Glad she is doing better. Love the oak, I would hate to cut it down. Unless it is sick of course.
Very nice garden Kathleen! and I have a compost container just like you. :)
The garden looks so lush and green. The daily showers we have been having has been good for my garden.
Thanks for all the nice comments. Iris, she is so bad, she also likes to turn the trash over in the kitchen and spread it everywhere, if I forget to take the bag out when I'm gone to work or shopping. Chewie is the good dog. lol. The only time he ever jumped the fence is when I was on that side of the house moving the trash containers back up to the house, and they both jumped at the same time. It was weird and kinda funny for a second. Then I had to go in the house, find my key for the car and back it out to find them. Not fast enough to grab them and the only way Chewie and sometimes Emily will come to me is if I am near the car and they can jump in. Moni, I don't turn it like I should. Haven't gotten any compost out of it yet...and had it two years..maybe three. I really need to turn it and keep adding stuff in the wintertime but I get lazy.
Looks like a nice place to spend time -- trees, plants, dogs -- nothing is lacking :-)
Kathleen turn it every time you get near it. :)
Lovely crops and pupsters!
A lovely yard, garden and pups! Your care of it is making it prosper.
Your gardens look great. And your dogs are sweet helpers.
Very pretty yard, garden, and pups. I really l ook forward to planting a garden again.
