Need help to ID this tree/shrub
Comments (4)OK, I have to share something with the group. I have had two peaches, one about 10-12 years ago, and I have one now, that are the rootstock from a deceased graft. Both of them actually had very tasty, albeit small, peaches. The current one is extremely late, and I often don't bother to harvest because I'm sick of peaches by that point, but they are really good in terms of flavor, a small freestone larger than a golf ball but smaller than a tennis ball....See Moreneed help with ID of tree

Comments (7)Your plant look very nice, but the flowers look nothing like the Celadine's I've seen. The yellow on Celadine travels out farther from the center and blends into the white gradually most of the time. Obviously environmental factors play a big role in the appearance of the flowers. Celadine also has very thick petals. There is a pdf on Celadine: www.theplumeriasociety.org/files/pdfs/Celadine.pdf I don't have Celadine, but have read about the famous 'double edge' it has on its the leaves. If a plant doesn't have the double edge (a vein line that goes around the leaf just inside the edge of the leaf), it's definitely not Celadine. It is has the double edge, it could be Celadine, but you still can't say for sure because it could be a seedling having the same trait......See MoreNeed help to id this tree..
Comments (3)I know you kid, lucky, but to me, I think we're looking at white ash. Those leftover leaf stipules make me think so. Of course, an extreme bud close-p would tell the tale....See Morewindberry zone5a BCCanada
