Comments (46)Ripe seeds are brown. I doubt that the green ones will be viable. My plants are still blooming and we've had a couple light frosts and consistantly cool nighttime temps. I've already picked several pods but am leaving the rest on the plant and will pick them as necessary. One pod did split but I think that had something to do with a hungry critter. The remainder of the pods, ripe ones included are still intact. If the seeds are ripe you can see a dark area inside the pod if the sun's really bright. Comments (19)I agree with Stocky. It's a Victorian or Victorian style oak table with turned legs and very nice claw and ball feet BTW. It's probably worth $200-$300. I'd clean it up with a dry microfiber cloth to see whether it's got polyurethane or not. If it does, nothing you do to the surface will matter since it's sealed. If not, you could nourish it sparingly with Howards Feed N Wax, which is an oil type wax I use successfully at home. It doesn't strip or leave residue at all. From the underside it's obviously been worked on a bit. I see drips there in the first photo of the underside. Difficult to tell what that might be from a photo. 29-1/2 is standard table height....See MoreHairy Balls Milkweed (Gomphocarus physocarpus)
Comments (8)PS A. fascicularis has done great in my yard this year. I was concerned earlier this year when a couple of very flood-y rains caused rust to develop on most of the lower leaves. But many weeks of hot-and-dry weather has taken care of those, and my 8-10 plants are now a massive, blooming grove. I have them planted in full sun, in a pretty dry area of the yard. The HBMs are planted along the rear of this bed, and C. procera (right) are getting rather huge.
