kitchen accent wall update ideas.
Comments (2)HI. You do not need any special feature on the wall itself. I would recommend the following -clean out as much clutter from the sink as possible. For example, can the bottles on the window sill be put away? -Get tall art for both sides of the window that takes up much of the window height. May I ask about the unit on wheels? Can that be moved to another location? Thanks!...See MoreKitchen Accent Wall, Clash?
Comments (13)few things. why would you cover you current backsplash w/a brick veneer? I think it's a poor choice. I like the current backsplash much better. Doing that brick veneer w/a the more formal sqaure panel wall treatment won't be the best match. (make sure you're really good on your math so that the wall is symmetrical) leave the tile for now. or if you really want to change it, then do something like Zellige or the Cloe Tile. Much, much better looking tile. (and I like the 4x4 or 5x5 size tiles because they mimic the squar panel trim on the wall. looks way better than matching your brick on the fireplace. ) I like this wall treatment for the dining wall. match your peninsula w/the same type of trim. if you want shiplap, then do the dining wall w/shiplap. Not both here's a modified shiplap w/border edging trim I like this one too. a chevron in a dark charcoal stain. similar wall trim what's wrong w/a little contrast? you're picking a light gray and all that white. bring in a little contrast then you could do your fireplace w/something like this...See MoreKitchen accent wall or not?
Comments (0)I am trying to decide whether to paint our large wall that goes downstairs and accent color or not. We just put in new counters and backsplash and need to paint our walls. I am having a hard time deciding on paint color. Our floor tiles seem to be a warm gray (maybe an undertone of green?) Do I choose a greige (BM Pale Oak, Balboa Mist, Classic Gray) with an accent wall? And if so, what color accent? I am hoping for a calm but not dull kitchen. Our windows face SE so lightning isn’t super bright. The floors in the rest of the house are warm and paint is a “putty”. Thanks for any input!...See MoreCopper kitchen accents look better with black or stainless appliances?
Comments (8)IMO too many things going on and that hood should be the star isnce it probably cost a fortune.IMO the pine walls are too much the hickory and the pine will fight eachother . Kepp the rest of the kitchen simple and if you have never owned a copper sink I woudl stronly suggest you do stainless . Add some copper accessories and IMO all of there decisions should be done with a good KD in your pocket . Spaces are never good with too many stars....See MoreHome Interiors with Ease
