I'm adding trees to my parent's yard I've tried to line up the trees I planted with trees they planted, to create a tree-lined corridor effect. The catch is one neighbor planted their trees closer to the street then people typically recommend today. (Maples like 13 feet from the road) and the other has trees much farther from the road. (Like 33 feet). I've also tried to keep the black walnuts I got far away from the neighbor who planted pines, and am trying to avoid planting anything big or evergreen in the spot my neighbor has a tiny sliver of view. One neighbor has young Gingko, birch, and Leyland cypress set back 33 feet from the road, the other has maples planted right near the road. (What trees look good with those?) I'm planting a row of small flowering things parallel with the tree line closer to the road and taller shade trees parallel with the other's. On the property line...One neighbor planted a row of white pine along the border. My parents hired a landscaper to put in a mixed border of Dwarf Alberta Spruce/hedges cut to resemble conifers/rhododendron along the same border. I've added holy to that in the hopes they will block below the pines when the pines lose lower branches. Want to add taller American Holly but never succeeded. I'd like to add a shade loving tree like American Holly or Beach between the two plantings, because I question the longevity of white pine in this location.

I would go for a bright color preferably in a cool color. Each of the samples above are all too muted in color which doesn't offset it from the brick. Try using a bright cool white.

If im looking at this correctly on your cabinet walls there will be very little paint. do you want those small portions to pop? go with a darker color. or blend in with the splash? go lighter. the nice thing about those small sections are they are easy to repaint and change it up. As for the larger walls i also think the three middle colors are nice. And consider lighting temp and natural light. that has a big change on what it will look like IRL. and in the end - it’s just paint. it can always be changed.
