Lighting fixture off-center -- to fix or not to fix?

Hello! The previous owners of my house had a lighting fixture in the kitchen that I'm going to replace. We have a table and chairs underneath that area now, and the connection for the lighting fixture seems off. In order to center the table underneath it, I would have to pull it away from the wall (with the 3 windows) by about 9 inches. Do you think this is a noticeable amount that would look odd being off-center? Is there any fix for this? There's plenty of room to walk and sweep around the table as is, and I'd rather not pull it out any further.
