Kitchen remodel question

HI. This may be a novice question, but... I know it's more expensive to move water/plumbing from one wall to another (e.g. if remodeling, moving sink from wall A to wall B that has no current water connection). However, is it typically costly to move a sink further down the same wall it's already on (e.g. from one corner to the middle) realizing that the counter would have to be changed of course. Also if gas range was on a wall that was removed, the connections having to be relocated to another wall would be the costly I assume.

I have lurked on kitchen remodel advice questions and it seems that so many kitchen design suggestions are to move appliances around for better flow. Just wondering if that often takes a big chunk of one's budget.
