I think your dining room chair options are a great idea. I am not sure I understand the curtains in the dining room where you can see the stairs going up on the side. Does that separate the LR from the DR? You asked for other suggestions and mine would be to take them down. As for the LR, I don't think it'd be too much wicker for either of those chairs. I think the first one looks nicer or more contemporary. The 2nd one looks more grandmotherly or porch-y IMHO. Depending upon the proximity of LR to DR you might consider whether this is too much, I couldn't tell but otherwise I think the style and texture would look nice with your sofa, art, colors, etc. Trim - I think black would be a preference thing. It would look fine, maybe make the rooms look more dark - you seem to have a lot of darker accessories so depending on the look you are after... The white looks fine as-is. You could try the 'cut out black construction paper and tape it on the trim to check it out' before painting technique (or hope for a photoshopper to help). Good luck - they are nice rooms!

I almost bought Sunbrella fabric for my living room sofa ( I have two teenage boys and a tween girl). Without seeing the kitchen and why your DH wants gray, I say the one on the far right. The strong contrast in the gray would take over the room and I think would fight the rug. The ivory give you pattern, but you can still see the rug and they balance each other. I had been thinking blue, but I like the cream or ivory and that keeps that light feel. Blue would have to be balanced with some other weight in the room or I think they would be too heavy too. You might find something like the ivory but with a pattern in blue (not too much) as a compromise? But let's see what's in the kitchen......

I didn’t like OITNB either. Ozark took me until halfway through the second season to appreciate- but now I like it quite a bit. I hadn’t had the opportunity to appreciate Jason Bateman before (hadn’t seen many movies)- but I see why he’s a good antihero. Measured room. I need 8x 10 IF I count that little side chair that everybody keeps telling me to turn into a bench. I mean I suppose even if it was a bench it‘s need to have 2 feet on the rug right? I like the pattern of the first rug! I think it might be a little bit orange for me but I think that’s the general idea of what I need
