Entertainment Consoles??
Comments (36)I just picked up a chinahutch . The bottom of this particular one would make a perfect place to set a flat screen on or above. In our area china hutchs are free or not much more than $100 . Expanding your search to include hutchs might be a good option for you as well. I have another much more elaberate hutch so when I saw this one on the side of the road with a free sign on it I passed it buy then though better of it and turned around a looked it over. Its solid oak has a perfect finish ,a very plain square design. I am going to paint the top to match my daughters furnature and it will go in her room and the bottom will go in the craft room....See MoreConsole table - color dilema
Comments (14)I agree with Mon that the tall vertical cabinet/shelf behind the sofa needs to go. It makes your space look small and cluttered. I think you could place your console table on that pony wall in the foyer side if the depth works there. From your pics it looks like it would fit, but I don't know any of the dimensions. The current location of the console is too tight and too close to the end of the entry IMO. I also would change out the mirrored bi-pass doors for wood, it would warm up your space. If you need the functionality of the vertical cabinet, then consider a long console against the sofa with baskets or drawers....See MoreHelp choosing media table
Comments (54)RL Relocation...I love that all! Thank you so much. The light is just a cheap builder grade light, I actually have a fixture I love in another room downstairs ( that we never use) I will move it out there. I may be adventurous and try a real plant! The back of the basement is our bar area... we had requested a different layout but the builder didn't relay the info to the guy that did the custom cabinets, so we got what we have but saved money on the price of the house as a compromise. I am going to start a new thread asking for advice on that area ..you may be able to help me incorporate a console table between the windows into the bar area ( it's very awkward!)...See MoreHELP, need opinions on updating my living room, inexpensively!
Comments (60)Very nice. I'm glad you went w/ your original layout. :) Love the floor lamps; I think I like first one the best for your space, but they are both nice, and they both work. Love the goat! So much fun. You could mix in a couple of velvets in your pillows, with whichever way you decide to go, neutral or color. Velvet works well with leather. And you could still do neutral in pillows, etc., even with colorful art if you want to. You don't have to necessarily pull colors from art for other decor, art can stand on its own. But you could also incorporate art colors if you would like to, of course. Your space is really looking great. Love your ideas and the direction you're going in. Below, a bit of Boho/Boho Chic. Above, some velvets....See MoreMDB
