From what I can tell, the ceiling height above the side windows is different from the center windows so I'm doubtful you can hang drapery panels at the same height on all the windows. It appears that the breaks between windows and transoms are also at different heights. I agree with the suggestion to do Roman shades or shutters and leave the transoms bare. The difference in height won't be that noticeable. Or, mount floor length panels at the transoms, using the same color on the side windows and a different color/print on the center windows to highlight those.

Hi, Joanne-- Ida is right - you've got chair rail in your dining room and picture rail in your living space. These will take on a totally different appearance once all that wallpaper comes down, so I'd eval then, but expertly installed millwork is always worth a second look. Nice touches to have in your space if they work for your vision of it going forward. Is removing your ceiling popcorn in your plan, too? If so you'll be making a big transformation on your painted surfaces all at once - exciting stuff!

Even though the windows are close, they are in two different rooms. I would not match. I like the ones you have. You could get panels and hang shears under them for a bit of privacy while letting in light. Good job on the white washing! Very subtle.

I would hang the one on the left higher. They don’t have to be the same height … it’s a very charming look with your type of ceilings to do them differently. Lovely wall color!
