Coffee table or substitute for tight space
Comments (3)I've seen some nice leather ottomans that are about 15-18" square, with lids that open up so you can actually use them for storage. Gosh, put casters on one or two ottomans and you'd have a great place for photobooks, magazines, or an occasional drinking glass. I think they also come in more of a rectangular size too. The leather upholstery would at least be soft if someone bumped into it and the casters would make it easy to move out of the way....See MoreWill This Coffee Table Work In Our Space?

Comments (4)Is that your front door? If so it’s very cramped entering the house. There are 2 chairs there, correct? I might remove the couch and the big rug and just place the 2 chairs and a small side table between them with a smaller rug. To me it just looks like you open the door and are bamboozled with furniture. So to answer your question, no I would definitely not add another table. Cute entry table but it’s overshadowed by the furniture....See MoreIs this coffee table too big for our space?
Comments (25)I am being a nooge I know, but I can't get a handle on the room. Honestly, two more questions and that's it. Can the fireplace be moved elsewhere? What is the credenza next to the Christmas tree? Floors are gorgeous; love your air locked entry and you have snow! Meantime, I think the entry wall should have something that makes the space feel like a foyer. This could be a good spot for the storage ottomans...mittens, hats, etc. The center ceiling light, I'm assuming it was hung so it could be seen from outside through the half moon window. Forgetting table and chairs for now, what if you position your sectional, coffee table, rug, chair right in the middle of the window? (Love the continuous rod and added match stick blinds. Any interest?)...See Moresuezbell
