Since it looks like you may get splashing in there, I would do the inside, but only as high as the upper cabs. That is one beautiful kitchen. What counter are you doing? and will it extend behind the sink?

Do you mean only go as high as the bottom of the upper cabinets? The counter is a light quartz and yes it will go back to the windows.

yes, if you have the bullnose, I'm thinking it might look better to do the whole of the inside of the bump out. I'm not sure I'd do the outside or the bit surrounding the window.

If you’re not worried about splashing on it, I agree with cp that aesthetically it would look best to stop at end of uppers and not do the bumpout.

Good points. Maybe I’ll wait until the sink is in an decide how likely it would be to splash behind the line of cabinets.
