Basement flooring choice - LVP stone or hardwood finish for resale?

House is NE large cape built in 1954 with refinished original floors of white oak (warm tones) on 2 upper levels. Bathroom and kitchen vinyl have different complementary 'stone' finishes/patterns. Basement Gray stone LVP samples, 16" x 32" create look of a large, clean, bright room. LVP oak planks resonate with rest of house, bring down ceiling height somewhat. THE DILEMMA - too much wood, all 3 floors? Bright, bigger basement too sterile for Cape? What's best for resale?
