Comments (4)Coffee Country is grows on the east side of the house, so it gets morning and noon sun. In its first year, it grew about 4' tall, and started blooming nicely towards September. The blooms showed very nice color differation in the cooler weather; a wonderful mauve, smokey color that is hard to describe. I'm in Zone 5 and I didn't winter protect but CC has proved hardy. It did die to the ground; most roses here do anyway, but it is growing right back again. A great rose if you like unique colors. -terry...See MoreDistant Drums???
Comments (10)MaryDanielle, I've had mine for about three years. I should not have made that comment about her being boring. I can always pick her out in a crowd (on a long table of roses in bands at a nursery for example) so she is definitely distinctive. I just find her particular coloration and form to be unexciting; she's pretty, not gorgeous, not compelling. She is healthy and probably the only rose I have ever been able to grow really well and successfully in a pot (huge -- probably 20 gallon), so she has her merits. I just never swoon when I see her.......See MoreHappy Chappy, Distant Drums, Jubilee Celebration & others ....

Comments (10)Yes, one rose put on more pink hues yesterday, the other more gold. I cut one for an arrangement and it took on a very scrumptious orange tone in the vase (my fav). Anxious for the sun to come and see what they look like today....See MoreRelated Professionals
