Help me choose my garage door & front door color please?
Comments (6)I'm no expert but I think you're right, you probably want to keep the garage door matched closely to the brick around it so you don't highlight the garage. I think the bright white on the front door looks nice but maybe to make to stand out more a different color would be fun, but yeah, not red, lol! Ok, I'm no help but hopefully my comment will bump it up....See MoreHelp with paint colour for exterior front door please!
Comments (3)I think a navy blue would work really well - SW Naval, BM Hale Navy or - my vote - SW Sea Serpent: https://www.sherwin-williams.com/homeowners/color/find-and-explore-colors/paint-colors-by-family/SW7615-sea-serpent#%2F7615%2F%3Fs=coordinatingColors&p=PS0...See MoreFront Door Color, Need Immediate Help Please
Comments (10)Color is so subjective. In the close up pic, I really like the color, but in the wider shots all I can see is the zebra effect of the white with dark boards and the door just disappears because of it. Do you like the way the white portion looks? I'd be leery of adding a bright color to the door because it will compete with the stripes. If you like the striping, then what about a white door? Your gray is so neutral, you could use just about any color you want. Yellow always looks nice with gray but I don't think it's right for the style of your home: Maybe a brighter red?...See MorePlease help us with our inner and outer front door paint colors!
Comments (16)Hi all, Sorry for the delay, been a crazy few days! Outside of the house (colonial) is white siding, with black shutters. Would prefer not to share a pic of the front of the house (but perhaps we'll post one). The bricks on the front porch and walkway are a medium gray color. The lower part of the house has vertical siding, while the garage/upper part of the house have horizontal siding (all white). For the room that's to the right when you first enter has lots of blues - that's why we initially painted the front door blue (both sides). But we ended up hating it lol. I know we definiltey have our heart set on the Chine Green for the outer front door. Inside, we are open to either white to match the trim/other inner doors, or perhaps a grey that would work well with the Beacon Gray walls you see there. The front door also has a glass storm door, so the paint color should hold up well. We are thinking either a satin or semi-gloss at this point, but still open to pointers. Thanks all!...See MoreAlice Edwards
