Prayers and good thoughts please
Comments (18)Absolutely. My mom had bypass and valve repair when she was 85 and came through fine. One thing though, she has almost no memory of those first few weeks, including my sister and I being there, only other sister who lives in the same city! Also, depression can happen and if it affects him too much, a little medication may be in order, temporarily. (She had to do that.) At the time, there was a lot of pain to deal with and she wondered why she decided to go through with the surgery but now, of course, she is very glad she did it. I'll pray your b-i-l feels Peace....See MoreFires In OK--good thoughts please

Comments (29)(((Gabby)))) My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours along with any others in "Ike's path". Just talked to our sister In Sugarland/Houston.... they had windows taped with mattresses up against them and had spent the day trimming tree branches. They were outside with most of their neighbors watching the sky. She mentioned tornados are a concern. I could hear the wind howling as we talked. I think this has convinced her to sell and move to Nevada!...See MoreIt is time for my check-up...good thoughts please.
