Sounds good. I have one in a plain box and it looks like it might have been double pack . The last time I changed my ribbon was Aug last year. I wonder how you can tell if it's used or not. I can't get it out of the cardboard thing with out damaging the packing. I guess it's new. Who knows. But it may be a good idea to hang onto any in the future in case this offer comes up again. I think the back to front or front to back is not the problem. I wouldn't care what prints first since I don't do much text printing.........The problem is HOW to not print the sample label in PayPal. I had to buy 2 shipping labels today. It did it again, twice, including that 3rd print page with the upper instructions on how to print the label. I've looked through the options, but it is not going to tell me how not to do Sample label printing. I removed the printer and added it again and it works great only it didn't solve the label problem. I have also googled for a fix, but no one seems to have run into this problem. I have had this printer for a long time. I bought it with my XP and now I have W 7. AM I READY FOR A NEW ONE?

Yes, I knew there were expiration dates on ink (there's expiration dates on many things people wouldn't necessarily think about, peroxide & alcohol are just a couple) and there's also good and bad ways to store ink. You don't want to stockpile too much. I was looking in the store at the ink cartridges and wasn't surprised that the rotation wasn't maintained. Won't name the store. A couple people go crazy when it's mentioned. So watch when you buy too. Also, many if not most have a chip inside them to say they're out of ink before they actually are. They have to declare how much ink is in a cartridge but not how much you can actually use. On my Epson, there's a little reset switch. It gave me the message that it was out of ink. I pushed the reset and looky here, all of a sudden there's ink in there again! How it works varies from printer to printer but usually look around the electrical connection and there might be the little spot to poke a paper clip. The maddening part is that it has to cost more to put the electronics in there than it costs for the ink but they keep you buying it.

Maria Elena.....Our Dymo labeller was the old style one I mentioned we had before the Brother one was bought. We found the Dymo labels tended to unstick themselves from whatever after a while, more so from curved surfaces like the tops of electric plugs (the front face has raised lettering on so couldn't stick labels there) and even from some flat things too. Perhaps because the tape was rather thick and rigid...? Also the machine wasn't that efficient in embossing, sometimes it didn't print all parts of a letter, on other occasions it failed to move the tape through and printed two characters on top of each other! Plus it was a pain dialling up each character with that wheel type arrangement having to keep spinning it back and forth through the whole alphabet. It was OK at the time I guess as there wasn't anything else, but now there is! Looking at the two prices quoted above and their similarity......Brother gets my vote in this instance! Gill
