How Can I Post Pictures Here?
Comments (4)First thing you'll need to do is sign up for an online picture-hosting account. I use photobucket--a lot of folks use snapfish. I can tell you how posting from photobucket works. After photos are uploaded, one can copy the html tag that is under the picture and paste it directly into the body of the text of a post. One must copy THE ENTIRE TAG--including the little signs. But the html is all formatted for you. I assume snapfish is similar. You can get to snapfish at www.snapfish.com and photobucket can be found at www.photobucket.com I haven't looked at GW's uploading instructions in years...but they USED to be confusing. melanie...See MoreHow do you post pictures here in simple terms?
Comments (3)HighlanderNorth First you must choose where to store your photos..I suggest either Picasa, which I personally use, or Photo-bucket which seems to be the most popular. I have both but find dealing with Picasa easier. Also in Picasa you can very easily add text to your picture which comes in handy. Both Picasa and Photo bucket are free, just have to download them onto your computer. The thing I like about Picasa is that once I've downloaded my pictures to my Windows Live Photo Gallery, they automatically go to Picasa..you don't have to download them there directly. So, once you have chosen your picture storage website (there are others too) tell us and then some-one of us who uses the same will try to direct you as easily as possible to learn to post pictures. I remember on the Hydrangea forum, I tried to help someone learn to post pictures and I did give a rather lengthy tutorial on the procedure. I hope it wasn't me that confused the heck out of you...;-) Donna...See MoreHow do I post a picture here?
Comments (5)If you have your pictures hosted on a server somewhere, you can simply link to them using simple HTML codes. EXAMPLE: my photo's are on a hosting service called "Sparedollar.com". SO, to insert the pic within the body of this image, my HTML code is as follows: http://members.sparedollar.com/russjack/Mum_Garden_1650.jpg" height="500" width="375"> Now all you'll have to do is replace everything in red! (and of course change the size!) NOTE: I've placed a space right after the opening Hope this helps!! Berni in Ottawa...See MoreHow do post pictures here?/?
Comments (12)Hi all, hi kos, I've been lurking after Christinmk recommended this forum to me but haven't posted before. Can't resist a picture! You need the angle brackets like Christin says so look for that choice. Here's your nice picture in different sizes that you can set: I have limited experience with seeds and gardening so forgive me if I want to actually be able to answer a question. On the link below. I've purposely left out the angle bracket at the beginning and end of each line. That's because the brackets would make the picture show and not the code :) A couple of variations in the code work and a lot depends on choices that your company (image schack) gives you. Gardenweed posts gorgeous pics so I'm sure her instructions will help you! What are those pretty flowers? Best wishes, River Here is a link that might be useful: See my post of Feb 2, 11 with sample code...See Morecountry_bumpkin_al
