Laguna pressure flo 2100
Comments (1)I would replace it. Laguna is great about parts for there stuff. All my pumps and UV lights are Laguna for that reason. If you glue it there is a chance that water will get pasta tiny spot you might have missed and ruin the bulb or short the hole thing out. Much cheaper to replace the sleeve the the whole unit....See MoreKitchen sink faucet lost its water pressure
Comments (47)This is an old thread but it helped me. We had a leak under the kitchen sink, somewhere. There's a leak it turns out on the hose for the sprayer. 'kind of where it forms a 'U' near the weight. We have a Kohler K560 CP. (one handle for hot and cold) For some stupid reason I shut off the hot and cold valves under the sink. But it was nice that after 3 years they were not frozen at all. So im using a bucket under the leaky line until I get the replacement hose. ANYWAY, when I turned on the valves and the faucet, hot did not work at all, and cold worked normal. And then I lost some pressure on the cold. So I eventually tried what was recommended in this thread. I shut off the hot valve under the sink and I detached the hot line at the valve point and put it in a bucket. The cold valve was open, and I opened the cold full blast at the sink and held my hand tight over the faucet tip. I did that a few seconds. I was glad to see water and sediment had shot out of the hot line into the bucket. I reattached the hot to the valve and opened the valve. Both hot and cold water flow were restored. So I haven't flushed out the cold line because I dont want to break what isnt broken. :)...See MoreMoen Arbor Faucet - First Impressions
Comments (3)Hazelwags, thanks for your input. Filing a gallon jug in 51 seconds equates to 0.85 gal/min. Do you know the flow rate for your cold water filter? If it's more than 0.9 gal/min, then it likely isn't affecting the flow of the faucet. I tested mine using warm water, so the maximum amount of water would be flowing through the faucet. Also, did you test the flow using the Motionsense detector or the lever? Other posts on GW have indicated that the flow rate is better when using MotionSense than using the handle. StarCraft, thanks for the info about Watersense certification. I have a relatively new well and pump that delivers 15 gpm at 68 psi, so I don't think water pressure is the problem. I can get 5-6 gpm with great pressure from my old 1980's showerhead, so it's the faucet that is restricting the flow....See Morehandheld shower & water pressure?
Comments (2)Lisa do you know what model your Delta is? would love to look into it. my current fixed showerhead is 1.8 GPM (Moen Nurture). I tried the handheld version of that model and it's also 1.8gpm. The fixed has almost too much pressure, while the handheld was too weak. The other handheld I tried had 2.5 GPM (Moen Engage Magnetix). It was just ok but not good enough. I'm hoping that a water conserving handheld can be good. does such a thing exist?...See Moreuscpsycho
